Can I store my Caravan, Boat or Motorhome?

Dunedin is the only location that has room for Open Storage where you are able to store large vehicles and boats outside. In North Hamilton, Papamoa and Tauranga you would need to fit it inside a unit - please call to enquire.

What do I need to bring to move into a unit?

You will need photo ID as part of the sign up process. We accept drivers license or passport

How do the rental payments work?

There are no deposits, admin fees, cleaning fees or any other hidden costs! All we require is the 1st month paid in advance and a minimum stay of 7 days. All unused rent will be refunded on move out. It's that simple.

How do you lock the unit?

You will need to provide your own padlock. We sell them onsite if you need one. This ensures that you’re the only one with the key or combination for your belongings.

How much notice do I need to give before I can move out?

7 days notice to terminate the agreement (No leases)

What can’t I store?

Any goods that are a risk to the property of any person, e.g. lithium ion batteries, gas bottles, chlorine, acid, paint, petrol, items with strong odors or anything that can leak.

Can I live in my unit?

No sleeping in the unit.

Can I work out of my unit?

These are not workshops, they are storage spaces for you to drop stuff off and pick it up. If it creates dust, excessive noise, could cause fires or spill liquids that affects other storers you can't do it.

Is my stuff insured?

We can sell you insurance, if it's not already covered under your personal contents insurance. You can call your insurance company to find out.

Can I receive courier packages to my unit?

Yes! We can hold small packages in the office for you or you can arrange with your courier to deliver it to your unit.
